Annual General Meeting
Hannans Reward Ltd (ASX:HNR) (Hannans) is pleased to advise that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 31 January 2012.
The Notice of Meeting setting out the matters to be considered at the general meeting is attached to this ASX release.
At the AGM shareholders will, amongst general matters of business, have the opportunity to vote on the proposed equal reduction in capital and in specie distribution.
Hannans advises that earlier today the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) approved an application to enable Hannans to extend the period of time within which it may hold its AGM to no later than 31 January 2012.
Drilling Update at Lake Johnston
- 20 RC percussion holes (for 3,248 metres) have been completed to date at the Mt Gordon Prospect
- The remaining planned 51 RC percussion holes (approximately 5,000 metres) will be completed during January and February 2012
- Samples have been submitted to the laboratory for drilling completed to date; assays have been received for only 4 holes (16 holes pending)
Thursday December 22, 2011Encouraging Assay Results at Jigalong Project
- Assay results have been received and interpreted for the first round of RC drilling with grades up to 33% Mn intersected.
- Overall results confirm multiple, broad, shallow zones of medium grade (>14%) manganese mineralisation across the Hill 616 prospect.
- Core drilling has now completed with samples to be submitted for metallurgical beneficiation testwork in January 2012
- On target to lodge mineralisation report for Hill 616 prospect in Q1 2012.
Monday November 14, 2011Drilling Commences at Lake Johnston Project
- RC percussion drilling program has commenced at Lake Johnston.
- Four discrete high priority gold anomalies and a nickel anomaly to be targeted at Mt. Gordon.
- A total of 71 holes for 6,500 metres of drilling planned.
Tuesday November 1, 2011Manganese at Jigalong
- RC Drilling at Hill 616 and Dead Camel has recently been completed
- Holes confirm shallow, gently dipping, laterally extensive Manganese mineralisation across the Hill 616 prospect that is open in both directions along strike
- All corresponding RC samples now submitted to ALS laboratories for assaying with first round of results expected in early November
- Diamond drilling program now underway at the Hill 616 prospect
- 2.6 Metre zone of massive Manganese mineralisation intersected in diamond hole JDDH01
- Selected samples from the diamond core to be used in metallurgical beneficiation test work during the coming quarter
- Other field activities, including surface mapping and reconnaissance sampling, continue across the Jigalong project
